Naas GAA Weekly Update
Naas GAA Fundraising Golf Classic 2024
Now is the time for all our members and supporters to get behind our first main Club fundraiser of the year. In order to ensure we continue to serve our growing membership base across juvenile and adult, gents and ladies, football, hurling and camogie sections, we must invest in the next phase of development. Our immediate plans include a new gym, additional floodlights, reflooring the hall, installation of solar panels, upgrading car parking facilities and seeking new additional pitches to supporting our year-round training needs.
To support the fundraising needs of these club development initiatives, we are holding a Golf Classic at the K Club on June 7th. This event will be widely promoted, with significant local print and radio media coverage.
There are many ways to support this event and any level of support is appreciated:
1. Being a Sponsor. Come on board as one of the main sponsors of the event and benefit from coverage throughout the day (amount negotiable)
2. Enter a team and entertain your staff or customers (€450 per fourball)
3. Sponsor a tee box (€200) and have your logo displayed at the tee box and in the clubhouse.
To book your time or for sponsorship opportunities or queries please contact: naasgaagolfday@gmail.com

Kildare u 14 Win Leinster Title
Congratulations to the Kildare u 14 team who won the Platinum u 14 Leinster title at the weekend in convincing style against Carlow. It was a very strong performance reflected in the score line at the final whistle as Kildare registered 6-13 to Carlow 2-02. Naas were well represented on the panel with Amber Blake, Rachael Enright Siah Mc Manus, Caoimhe Costello and Anna Whelan who have all greatly contributed to the team’s successful journey to the Leinster Final. Special mention also to James Costello , manager of this talented squad of players. Wishing all involved all the best in the All – Ireland series. Cill Dara Abú!
Kildare u 16 Leinster Final
Kildare faced Dublin on Sunday 21st April and a very exciting match ensued throughout, and Dublin enjoyed a lead by two points at half time. In spite of a tremendous effort by the Kildare players, Dublin managed to retain the lead and eventually won the tie on a score line of Kildare 3-07 Dublin 2-13. Well Done to all the players and especially our Naas players, Hannah Enright and Lexie Reddington, who both contributed very positively to the Kildare team effort. A great achievement to reach a Leinster Final and testament to their dedication and determination throughout the campaign.
Maith Sibhse agus Cill Dara Abu !
