Hurling is back!!! - 1st game of 2022 Season

AIB, (sponsors of the Club All Ireland Championships) are hosting their Annual Memorial Match in honour of the late Ger Hoey (AIB employee) who passed away suddenly in February 2009.

This year’s match will see Naas play the AIB GAA Team ,managed by Joe Deane (Cork) and his selectors, Stephen McNamara/Damien Garrihy (Clare) and our own Mark Hennessy.

The AIB team will include some of the best club players from all over the country and some former inter county players including Stephen O’Keeffe and Michael ‘Brick’ Walsh (Waterford), Kieran Joyce (Kilkenny) and Kieran Murphy (Cork). Other members of the AIB Club include Daithí Burke (Galway Captain 2022) and Diarmaid Byrnes (Limerick) both of whom are currently with their county panels preparing for the All Ireland Championship.
