The senior footballers were defeated by Raheens in a very tight encounter by the minimal of margins on a score line of 1-13 to 1-12 over the weekend. Round 14 continues on Saturday 21st with an away fixture against Robertstown at 7pm.
Championship hurling continues this week with the Intermediates playing Ardclough in Celbridge on Thursday 19th at 7.30pm and the Junior hurlers against Coill Dubh in Clane on Friday 20th also at 7.30pm.
The Naas U14 football team suffered a narrow defeat against Athy. Final score Naas 2-7 Athy 2-9. The U14 Div4 side have a home fixture on Sunday 22nd against Celbridge at 11am.

U8’s: The Red Team had an official fixture against Confey and lost narrowly by a goal in a match that could have gone either way right up to the end. All Naas players on the Red Team were outstanding. The final result was Naas 6 Confey 7. Naas U8

The second half followed with goals from Barry Murphy, Sean Nolan, points from Paddy Fleming, Barry Murphy and John Joyce. Outstanding for Naas were Cathal Starken Barry Loughnan, Niall Ahern, Shane Dunne and Eoin Bateman. Final score Naas 5-4 Leixlip 0-5. Naas1 have an away fixture against Eire Og/Corra Choill and Naas2 are at home to Confey. Both games are on Wednesday 18th with 7.30pm start times.
In the primary schools competition Scoil Bríde and St Corbans played in the semi final of the first class. Great displays from Conor Clancy, Shane Daly and Austin Bergin for St Corbans saw them scrape home against a very talented Scoil Bríde. Outstanding for the losers were Luca Antolovia, Liam Cummins, Joseph Mooney Del Campo and Colm Herely. The finals took place on Wednesday in Ballycane where St Corbans first Class had a good win over Scoil an Limbh Íosa. Congratulations to the Naas West U10 football team on a great win against the Wicklow Champions - Lakeside. Going into half time the game was level but Naas returned the stronger side in the second half to secure victory. A great all round team performance on the night with a special mention to Cathal Dowling, Sam Garvey and Eoghan O
