Intercounty Action
Mixed results last weekend for our Senior county teams with wins for our camogie and football teams and tough defeats for both the ladies footballers and hurlers. This weekend the Kildare camogie team face Wicklow in Newbridge at 2pm on Saturday. Best of luck to Fiona Trant, Kelly Perkins, Maria Doyle, Aoife Fitzgerald and Sarah Cullen. This Sunday the Hurlers have a crunch tie against Down in Newbridge at 1pm, while the footballers travel to Meath at 2pm. Best Wishes to Aisling Archbald Elena Prendergast and all the players on the U16 Kildare Ladies Football team playing against Meath. The match is in Páirc Tailteann Navan on Sunday 3rd March, commencing at 12midday. This is a curtain raiser for the Senior men's league match at 2pm. Special well done to Aisling who has been named as captain of the team.

Camogie Table Quiz

The camogie section are hosting a table quiz on Friday 8th March in the club. Tickets will be on sale at all training sessions this weekend. All support greatly appreciated

Scór Update

Naas GAA competed at the recent Kildare County Scór Tráth na gCeist in Allenwood GAA. With ten rounds of questions on topics such as world geography, politics and history as well as three GAA rounds, the team came a very respectable fourth place. Many congratulations go to Allenwood GAA who won the competition. The team consisted of Gareth Byrne, Jim Fitzpatrick, Tiarnán Mac Conchradha and Mick Moriarty. Míle buíochas.

Maynooth University Talk in Naas GAA

There will be an information night for 5/6th year students and their parents who want to play Football, Hurling, Ladies Football or Camogie at college/university on Thursday March 7th at 7.30 in the club. We have a great line up for the talk. Maynooth University GAA Development Officer Jenny Duffy is going to talk about the Scholarship programme they have and how to apply for it.
