Scór Competition now open for Entrants   07/01/2019

Scór is the cultural side of the GAA and is divided into a Junior and Senior categories.  Scór Sinsear (for anyone over 17 years of age) takes place on Sunday, February 24th in Allenwood GAA Hall for County Kildare. The purpose of Scór is to promote Irish culture within clubs, and to give the members who may not necessarily wish to take part in sporting activities the opportunity to show their talents elsewhere.

There are 8 competitions, Céili Dancing, Solo-Singing, Instrumental Music, Novelty Act, Question Time, Recitation or Story Telling, Ballad Group and Set-dancing. Clubs can provide competitors in each category to compete against other clubs within the county.  The county winners go forward to represent Kildare at the Leinster semi-finals, which will take place this year on SATURDAY /Sunday MARCH 3rd / 4th.  The Leinster final will take place on the weekend of March 10th/11th venue to be announced and the All Ireland final on - Sat April 13th in the Travellers Rest, CASTLEBAR Mayo
