SENIOR HURLING UPDATE (report by Jim Sheridan)   17/07/2017

Naas got off to the perfect start in the first round of the Senior Hurling Championship, defeating Clane on a scoreline of 3-18 to 0-10.
Although not brilliant, but on top throughout.

Naas lead at half time on a score of 2-09 to 0-05.

In the second half it seemed the break suited clane better as they scored 3 points without reply.

It was to be a free from Sheridan 16 minutes into the second half that sparked Naas into gear.

They were to out score their opponents 1-09 to a single point in the last fifteen minutes of this championship encounter, 2 points in the bag and loads to be done... well done lads.
