Naas U14’s played in Division 1 of Feile na nGael and were hosted by Buffers Alley in Wexford.

They played 3 group matches and won two and lost one. Their last match against Buffers Alley and was described as one of the games of the tournament for the intensity and excitement.

The win meant Naas were now down to score difference and head to head to play in the cup or shield. The great effort put in was at cost as Naas lost one of their main players. Naas were in the shield and had to play O’Loughlin Gaels in the ¼ final back in Kilkenny.

Unfortunately, Naas were beaten having lost two more players to injury during this game. The weekend was a wonderful experience for our players who along with all the management, parents and supporters were very well looked after by Buffers Alley.

Our thanks to the player, management and supporters for the exemplary manner in which they represented our club.

All the players, management and a lot of the supporters attended the Camogie final in Ferns on Sunday and cheered on the girls as they retained the Division 3 title and we would like to pass on our congratulations to the team and mentors.
